The 1byone Outdoor Christmas Laser Light came packaged like most 1byone products in simple yet professional looking box. Included with the light is a remote and user’s manual. The light is constructed mostly of aluminum and has a tempered glass lens. Because if its solid construction it has an IP65 water and dust rating. Short of being fully submerged for an extended period, the light should survive even the heaviest of storms. The remote is a standard membrane style remote that should last but is not quite on par with the light quality wise. The remote does allow you to control all functions and is simple to figure out. The power cable is built into the light and is just over 11 feet long. I would have liked to see this removable and it would be nice if it were 25 feet long. The extra length would allow much easier placement without the use of an extension cable.
The light is extremely bright and had no problem lighting up the front of my house. It displays numerous patterns and designs in red, green, or a combination of the two. I received this light way before Christmas but I will certainly be using it this year to decorate the entire exterior of my house in just a few minutes. Having the remote to control the light from within the house is a nice bonus as is the built in timer. This truly is a set it and forget it device that is easy to recommend.
