The Nubwo S1 Headphones are an around the ear style and constructed mostly of plastic. Included with the headphones is a micro-USB charging cable, aux cable for using the headphones wired, and a user manual. The headband is very flexible and also allows for quite a bit of adjustment. The ear cups also pivot up and down to allow for an even better fit. On the bottom of the right ear cup is a micro-USB charging port and a 3.5mm port for using the headphones in a wired setup. On the back of the right ear cup are three buttons, one for skipping tracks and increasing the volume, one for decreasing the volume and skipping back, and one for power/play/pause/end/answer.
The headphones are rather light for being a full size headphone. The cushion on the head band combined with the plush padding on the ear cups make them very comfortable to wear for an extended period. The S1’s get loud enough to please even the most demanding listener. The microphone works well and I had no complaints when making test calls. The headphones put a slight emphasis on the midrange with a slow rolloff up top and fast roll off on the bottom end at around 40hz. This sound allows them to be non fatiguing and most people will enjoy it. The battery life is rated for 16 hours of listening to music and throughout my testing that seemed accurate.
Overall the Nubwo S1’s are an awesome value. They are extremely comfortable, sound decent, and come with a six month warranty. If you are in the market for a full size wireless headphone at a reasonable price, the S1’s are definitely worth considering.
